Achielle Babette

The Achielle Babette is the most classic bike at Achielle. It can be configured from a simple bike in its purest form, stripped of all unnecessary stuff, to a fully equipped city bike.

The Babette used to be divided into 3 different models: Jules&Julie, Miel&Marie and Basiel&Babette. Now these 3 models have been combined into a single model, so the possibilities are even more diverse. In the pictures you can still see the bikes with rims made of stainless steel. However, these are no longer available and today always come with aluminum rims.

With the Babette, the possibilities are endless. You can opt for a simple city bike with a sporty seating position and a Sturmey Archer Duomatic gear shift with back pedal. There are almost no cables here. Or you can choose a complete Stadvelo with a straight sitting position, 8 Shimano Nexus gears and lighting powered by a hub dynamo. All intermediate combinations are also possible. In order to design the bike completely according to your own taste, you can choose from more than 15 colors, for a surcharge also some other colors from the RAL spectrum. The colors of the mudguards and the rims can also be selected. So you can either opt for a bike in a single color or for a striking contrast. It is also possible to choose from different types of lighting, handlebars, locks, Brooks handles, saddles, tires and luggage racks front and rear.

Why buy this bike

Do you enjoy something beautiful and practical? The Babette model offers you almost everything. Easy entry and a very comfortable position or a little more sporty with the appropriate handlebars. Ideally, you should add a basket to the front or rear (or both) of the bike. It is an ideal vehicle for shopping or driving into town. Due to the posture, it is not suitable for drivers who are in a hurry and want to be very sporty on the road. Achielle

Achielle is a smaller Belgian bike manufacturer that has been producing retro bikes with style for decades. At the moment of our order, the frame tubes are cut, they are not mass-produced. Our direct contact with the manufacturer makes many things easier.

Availability / variants
