Light Dutch bike with a little extra comfort

The Gangurru Bellas offer good value for money like the Classics, but are a bit sportier due to the lower handlebars and the saddle. They especially work with the velvety one Finish noble. This bike is only available in a 52cm women's frame and in the colors mint, watermelon and sommersky (light blue).

Inexpensive city bike equipped for everyday use

Included in the price are the steel and rattan basket at the front, a luggage rack at the back, a permanently mounted front and rear light (battery), and all the other parts required for a city bike, such as stand, chain and mudguard, bell, etc...Optionally you can also upgrade the bike with a Brooks leather saddle (CHF 80, very durable and adapts to your buttocks over time), matching Brooks leather grips (CHF 40) and even one Conversion to a hub dynamo (CHF130 including a new front wheel, dynamo lights and the conversion work).

When you should buy a Gangurru Bella

With a bike weight of approx. 16kg ( incl. basket set) the Gangurru Bellas are a bit lighter and make the way to work even more pleasant. The same Shimano 7-speed drivetrain gets you sweat-free (or at least sweat-reduced) up easy hills. The light is fixed so that nobody can steal it from you so easily. In our opinion, the Gangurru bike is still one of the best value for money bikes in Switzerland.

The Gangurru Bella is the right bike for you...

...if you like to ride comfortably: Thanks to the Dutch bike style of the Gangurru Bella, you sit relatively upright on the saddle; that is comfortable and still a little sporty.

...if you don't have mountains on your commute and don't travel more than 15km each way per day; because that would otherwise be exhausting due to the simple circuit. The roads in Basel, Winterthur, Bern and Zurich are generally flat enough.

...if you are willing to take care of your bike.

...if you want to buy a carefree cheap bike: as almost the only online seller, we put every bike in our workshop first, including the cheap ones.

When you shouldn't buy a Gangurru

The Bellas still fall into the budget bike category, and they definitely need some maintenance. All bikes need this, but with a cheap bike you really have to do this. This is even more pronounced if you don't have the opportunity to store your bike.

We recommend that our customers only invest 10 minutes a month in their bike - then everything will be fine. In these 10 minutes the wheels are pumped, you have a rag over the vintage colors and applied some chain spray.

If you don't want that, we recommend you more for your new bike, because the more expensive material offers a bit more protection against the weather.

If you are still unsure, you can find more information in our Buying help for cheap bikes find.
