Unfortunately, a conversion from body size to frame size does not always work across the board. In addition to the overall size, the length of your stride, arm length, frame geometry and personal preferences are decisive. We would be happy to help you choose the right model for you in a personal consultation.
The generally accepted formula for city bikes & racing bikes is stride length x 0.635 = frame size. However, this cannot be applied 1: 1, as the gradations between the models are between 3 and 8 cm, depending on the manufacturer. For mountain bikes, this factor is 0.573.
In our experience, the following information is correct in most cases:

178 - 192 cm | XL (56cm) |

170 - 175 cm | 52 - 55 cm |
175 - 180 cm | 55 - 58 cm |
