Price calculation for our pick-up and drop-off service
The fee is calculated per journey and depending on the distance to and from the Loris Shop. In order to keep it simple, we created three price zones depending on your postal code.
Zone 1: CHF10 per trip
Zone 2: CHF20 per trip
Zone 3: CHF40 per trip (Forwarder fee for 100% assembled bikes)

Calculation example:
Mr Loris lives in 4057 Basel and has a flat tire. 4057 is in zone 2. If Herr Loris wants to order a pick-up & drop-off after the fact, then he spends two times CHF20 = total CHF40.
Should Mr Loris decide to just order a pick-up, thus visiting the Shop in Münchenstein and collecting the bike himself after the bike is fit again, he will only spend one pay for one trip = CHF20.–.

Pickup Vouchers
As a bike shop we live off of bike sales (shocker, we know). And in order to show our appreciation to our customers who enable us our living, we thought of something special:
With the purchase of a bike in the Loris Velos Shop in Müchenstein (offline) above CHF750, you receive vouchers for pick-up and drop-offs of your bike (or anyones). The voucher amounts are layered by purchase price:

Note:This price model is valid since the 01.01.2021 and was introduced because of a surging demand for our service. The free pick-up service we offered in the past made it ever more difficult to deal with our work volume and the pickups during the opening hours - resulting in Roman driving around each evening nearly every day up until 9-o-clock-ish. While Roman did this with joy and was happy to interact with our happy customers, this practice with 14h workdays is just not sustainable.
With this cost participation we hope to be able to offer this service sustainably and consistently for those people who are really dependent on it. This is also the right place to point out that it is that, a cost participation. Even with the new price model, the pickup service is still heavily subsidized, considering the time effort required.
