Achielle cargo bike - simply brilliant

Long John was the name of the first cargo bike in history. Almost 100 years later there is Ferre, adapted to today's needs: a practical e-cargo bike with a powerful Shimano Steps mid-engine, 8 gears (Alfine), hydraulic brake discs and a strong aluminum transport box. With Ferre you can easily drive through the city, with the children and the shopping in the transport box. The Achielle cargo bike "Ferre" offers the possibility to choose the frame as well as the box color from a large selection.

Manufactured in Beglien, combined with Shimano components

The "Ferre" relies on Shimano components for both the engine and the gears. This enables you a problem-free, worldwide service. Thanks to its recognized quality, Shimano has become number one in the bike segment. In addition to Bosch, the Shimano motor is considered to be very reliable and is gaining more and more market shares.

The frame is built so that the loading area is extra close to the ground, which makes the bike much more stable when in use. A strong stand ensures that the bike remains stable even when it is parked. Just like with all other Achielle bicycles, you can completely configure Ferre yourself and, as mentioned, choose one or more colors, the saddle, the handles, the lighting ...

Well loaded and well taken care of

The 504Wh frame battery allows you a range of up to 120km under optimal conditions and a low support level. A 630Wh battery is also available as an option. The battery is charged to 80% within 2.5 hours. You can find more interesting details at Shimano direct

About Achielle

In 1946 the grandfather of the current owners, Achiel, founded a small bicycle shop in Zwevezele. Now, 70 years later, Peter & Tom, together with their father Jan, creates and some reliable workers Bicycles with his name and face.

The developer team from the beginning of the last century to inspire. The models from that time are complemented by today's technological advances. Achielle is unique because all steel frames are still made in our own workshop. From the tube to the complete bicycle under one roof.
