Bike Chain for 6/7/8 speed gearing
Default Shimano chain, suitable for 6/7/8 speed cassettes. Normally used with the component Groups Tourney, Altus, Acera, Claris, Sora and nonames. For the high-performance materials such as XT, Deore, LX, SLX, please use the HG-71 for more performance.
For assembly you need a chain riveting tool, if you own one of those it is easily done at home.
Note: A chain is wearing in parallel with the sprocket and (to a lesser degree) the chainwheel(s) in the front. This means, that you cannot simply replace an old chain wihtout replacing the other components, once the strain has passed a certain point. If you are uncertain, please ask a bike shop of your trust for an assessment or measure it with a chain wear tool yourself.Scope of delivery | Specs
