The quality of the ingredients and the purity of the rubber mixture determine the quality of the inner tube even at the material stage. During vulcanisation, each Schwalbe tube is placed in a mould and pumped up. This is the only way to ensure uniform wall thicknesses and excellent air retention.

Consistent control that ensures the highest possible functional reliability: Each hose is pumped up at the factory and stored under pressure for 32 hours to check its air content. Due to the high elasticity and quality, a single tube covers many tyre sizes. For example, tube no. 17 works as well with a tire width of 28 mm as with a tire width of 47 mm. Only an extremely high-quality and reliable hose can meet this requirement.
