Achielle Sam – Limited Special Edition

Limited special edition of the Sam bicycle.

Only 50 numbered bikes were produced. Available exclusively through Achielle dealers.

What makes this handmade Sam so unique? The most striking feature is the wooden rims: strong, lightweight, unique, and truly beautiful. These rims have been crafted in Italy for three generations and have contributed to three victories in the Tour of Flanders.

In addition to the wooden rims, the Sam features an exceptionally refined finish: unique low-profile fenders, a golden chain, and a leather saddle and hand grips produced by Brooks.

This Sam is equipped with a Sturmey Archer three-speed hub, as well as front and rear drum brakes. Sapim Strong spokes connect the classic hubs to the rims.

The pedals are made by MKS. Like the Brooks saddle undercarriage, they feature a copper finish. The matching toe clips are fitted with leather straps from Brooks.

Each Sam has a number from 1 to 50, individually engraved by hand on a metal plate.

Achielle is a smaller Belgian bike manufacturer that has been producing retro bikes with style for decades. At the moment of our order, the frame tubes are cut, they are not mass-produced. Our direct contact with the manufacturer makes many things easier.
