A city speed bike of the highest order

Thanks to the light weight and the visibly short frame geometry, you get a lot of power, including core strength, on the road. The small turning circle allows nimble overtaking even when the cars are stuck again at the Basel customs - or the Normies are crawling up the Wettsteinbrücke. The CMNDR feels like a racer that was converted into a city bike by the witness protection program -  and is simply fun through and through.

Designed with great attention to detail

For a bike to be "good", all parts must be right. From the wheel bearings to the tires, from the saddle to the bottom bracket, everything has to meet a certain standard and has to harmonize. And you can't cheat here: for example, an expensive fork doesn't make up for bad wheel bearings.

Carbon parts are usually only found on bikes around the 1000 Franks mark, so the question arises: How does Polo&Bike do that?
The answer highlights a fact that every cyclist knows: the devil is in the detail, and if you want to have all the details under control, you either have to spend a lot of money or be really familiar with it.

Many components self-produced

For the singlespeed P&B produced with the CMDR, they have gone the route of the connoisseur. The company, which has been a well-known player on the international fixed gear market since the 00s, has bundled its entire knowledge and materialized it in components in various partnerships.

For example, the wheels, the handlebars, the saddle and the cranks are all own designs. And after various test rides by Flo & Nathalie from our team, we can say with full conviction: Impressive precision landing! It takes balls and an inbelievable expertise to get this right, and somehow they did.

PoloAndBike is a small but fine manufacturer of fixie bikes, single speed, criterium race bikes and high-end racing bikes from Gijon, Spain. Timeless steel frames for the entry-level models, modern aluminum or carbon frames for the premium products.
